Cedars Bsharri Ski Resort

Cedars Bsharri Ski Resort

Cedars Bsharri Ski Resort is the oldest in Lebanon. The first chairlift was installed there in 1950 and the ski lift in 1959. Three hours from Beirut, this authentic and family resort offers a magical landscape and breathtaking panorama. Moreover, people come here more to enjoy the view than for the sporting sensations. One of these views in question concerns the highest peak in Lebanon, the Qornet es Saouda (3083 meters above sea level), as well as the last reserves of cedars of Lebanon. What is most striking about the Cèdres? The tranquility of the place and the nature that surrounds it, a natural beauty of the place, in the heart of a forest dating back several millennia. The ski area has half a dozen slopes but should expand in the future, with the construction of a gondola and a shelter.
