1. SIRO One Za’abeel – Sanctum, sport at the heart of the experience

The gym? The Fitness Lab at SIRO One Za’abeel spans several specialized zones, equipped with connected Technogym equipment for precise performance monitoring. It includes a cardio area, a strength training area with free weights and machines, an immersive cycling studio, a 176 m² yoga studio with skyline views, and a Pilates studio with Reformer machines. The center offers up to 50 weekly classes, including HIIT, martial arts, functional training, and personalized sessions led by Master Trainers from the Team SIRO collective, made up of international coaches and professional athletes.
The sports experience? The Sanctum program offers a new approach to movement. Born from the vision of Luuk Melisse and Gabriel Olszewski, this immersive ritual fuses kundalini yoga, martial arts, and conscious breathing. It’s not a simple fitness class, but an inner journey, where intense physical effort alternates with emotional release and energetic refocusing. Everything is carried by an electronic soundtrack, which guides as much as it galvanizes. Since June, the sessions have been integrated into the daily program of the hotel where to practice sports in Dubai. A five-day immersive wellness retreat , “Sanctum Wellness Boost,” is offered from October 1 to 5, 2025.

2. Hatta Wadi Hub – Multisports

The location? A 1.5-hour drive from the city center, in the heart of the Hajar Mountains, the Hatta Wadi Hub caters to both thrill-seekers in Dubai and families looking for a getaway. A natural setting nestled between wadis, arid valleys, lunar panoramas, and artificial lakes, offering a wide variety of activities: mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, climbing, ziplining, and even a 12-meter-high water slide for a refreshing dip. High-quality equipment, certified guides, and eco-friendly infrastructure (with the option of overnight stays) enhance this Dubai mountain experience.
What makes the difference? The Hatta Wadi Hub transforms physical exertion into a rejuvenating stay, whether on the 60 km of marked mountain bike trails, kayaking on the Hatta Dam, or for fun hurtling down the slope in a giant transparent ball (zorbing). Next door, for adrenaline seekers, the Hatta Aerial Adventure Park offers a 45-degree zip line and a treetop adventure course. Here, sport in Dubai becomes a tool for reconnecting with nature, with one’s breath, and with one’s limits. Some programs incorporate active recovery practices like outdoor yoga or post-exercise breathing workshops. Multi-day training camps are organized, combining physical intensity, immersion in nature, and introspective breaks.

3. Al Qudra Cycle Path – Sports in Dubai, nature version

The place? 40 km from Dubai, the Al Qudra cycle path winds through rolling dunes, nature reserves, and desert expanses. This stretch of asphalt in the heart of nature is a must for cyclists looking for a change of scenery. In addition to the silence of the desert and the spectacular views, they sometimes encounter gazelles or Arabian oryx. Frequented by beginners and triathletes alike at first light to enjoy the morning coolness, this free, perfectly maintained loop is also equipped with rest areas, water points, and even a cafe. Bike rentals are available at Trek Bicycle Store at the entrance to Al Qudra. A wonderful way to enjoy the Dubai desert .
The sporty experience? Cycling in the desert at dawn is a rare sensory experience. The fluid effort on the asphalt, the still-fresh air, and the sand, which gradually takes on a golden hue, invite a form of meditation in motion. At the end of the day, when the sky glows red, the scenery becomes surreal. The main loop, known as Route 1, used by most cyclists, covers 50 km. But the more seasoned can tailor their route by adding various links. For example, the most experienced combine several routes (numbers 2, 3, and 4, as well as extensions to Saih Al Salam or Bab Al Shams) for a ride of up to 180 km. For beginners, the shortest ride, the Stick section, totals approximately 18 km.

4. AURA Skypool – Yoga in the Sky

The location? Perched on the 50th floor of the Palm Tower, the AURA Skypool is the world’s highest 360° panoramic infinity pool. This celestial oasis, suspended 200 meters above Dubai, offers spectacular views of the skyline, Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Al Arab, and the Arabian Gulf. The venue exudes a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, where light wood furniture and discreet vegetation play accomplices. The holy grail for finding inner peace by taking sunrise yoga classes.
In sports mode? Four days a week, AURA transforms into a high-altitude mindfulness sanctuary, offering classes that vary from day to day: vinasaya yoga, water yoga, and yin yoga with sound therapy. The sessions improve flexibility, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. The silence is profound, the breath is in tune with the breeze, the body is grounded, and the mind wanders. Each asana becomes a tribute to the present moment, carried by the changing light, the reflections on the water, and the sensation of infinity. This sensory and inner interlude can be rounded off with breakfast in the cozy lounge.
