1. Leonardo Boutique Hotel
If you want to stay close to the action without sacrificing style, Leonardo Boutique Hotel Larnaca is one of the easiest choices on this list. Its central location puts you within easy reach of the promenade, beach, shops and restaurants, so it works particularly well if you are visiting Larnaca without a car.
Inside, the look is modern and polished rather than over-the-top, with comfortable rooms and the sort of facilities that make a city break much easier. There is an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, restaurant and bar, giving you somewhere to retreat when you’ve had enough sightseeing for the day.
We particularly like this one for travellers who want to split their time between exploring central Larnaca and doing absolutely nothing beside the pool.
Best for: couples, short city breaks, first-time visitors and travellers who want to stay close to central Larnaca.
2. The Ciao Stelio Deluxe Hotel
If waking up close to the Mediterranean matters more than being right in the middle of town, The Ciao Stelio Deluxe Hotel deserves a look. This polished beachfront property combines sea views with a quieter atmosphere, making it particularly appealing for couples.
The rooms and suites are elegant and comfortable, with minibars and contemporary interiors. Many also come with balconies overlooking either the Mediterranean or inland Larnaca — and, given the choice, we’d take the sea view every time.
There is an on-site restaurant, but one of the biggest advantages here is simply the location. You can start the morning beside the sea and still reach central Larnaca without turning the day into a logistical expedition.
Best for: couples, romantic breaks and travellers who want a stylish hotel close to the beach.
3. Lordos Beach Hotel & Spa
Lordos Beach Hotel & Spa is a better fit if your idea of a Larnaca holiday involves considerably more pool time and considerably less rushing around town. Set beside Larnaca Bay, it feels more like a proper Mediterranean resort than a city hotel.
Rooms come with balconies and Mediterranean views, while the resort itself offers outdoor pools, beach access and water-sports facilities. There is also plenty of space to simply disappear with a book for a few hours — always a respectable holiday plan.
The interiors are elegant and slightly more traditional than some of Larnaca’s newer hotels, while the formal dining options make Lordos particularly convenient if you would rather spend your evenings at the resort than head back into town.
Best for: beach holidays, couples, families and travellers who want resort facilities rather than a city-centre base.
4. Golden Bay Beach Hotel
For a classic beach-resort stay with plenty of facilities, Golden Bay Beach Hotel is another strong option on Larnaca Bay. The beach is just steps away, while the hotel packs enough into the grounds that you could quite happily spend a couple of days without going anywhere else.
Accommodation ranges from rooms to larger suites, with some offering balconies, private terraces and Jacuzzis overlooking the Mediterranean. If this is a special trip, those upgraded categories are where Golden Bay becomes considerably more interesting.
Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, beach access and a spa. In other words, this is less “drop your bag and explore immediately” and more “perhaps we’ll just stay beside the pool until lunch.”
Best for: resort holidays, spa breaks, couples and travellers looking for plenty of on-site facilities.
5. Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort
Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort brings a more contemporary resort feel to this stretch of the coast. Located close to Voroklini Beach, it is a good option if you want modern rooms, direct access to the seaside and enough facilities to make staying put very tempting.
The hotel has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, garden and private parking. There is also an on-site restaurant and terrace, while the sauna and hot tub come in particularly handy when you have decided that sightseeing can wait until tomorrow.
Its location outside the busiest part of central Larnaca makes it better suited to travellers prioritising the beach and resort atmosphere over being able to walk everywhere in town.
Best for: beach escapes, modern resort lovers, couples and travellers who prefer staying outside central Larnaca.
