When you visit Sirince Village, you can breathe in the clean air, take strolls along its narrow stone paths, shop for handmade souvenirs in small stores, and enjoy fruity wines made by local producers in the village.

When to Go to Sirince Village

Sirince Village

Şirince, about an hour from İzmir, is the kind of village we return to in every season—each one flips the vibe without losing the magic.

Spring is blossom-scented and breezy—prime time for slow rambles along cobbled lanes. Summer is all about hilltop panoramas and a glass of icy fruit wine in the shade. (It’s the busiest stretch—go early or linger after sunset if you want the alleys a little quieter.)

Autumn and winter turn Şirince into a postcard. Wineries and small hotels fire up the hearths, dinners stretch long, and those tiny stone-house windows frame storybook village views. Falling asleep to crackling logs? Dream guaranteed.

Coming from İzmir? Ride İZBAN to Tepeköy, transfer toward Selçuk, then continue by minibus. Driving your own car is easy and scenic; it’s about an hour from İzmir center and the road is a joy.

Flavours Unique To Sirince

Sirince Village Sand Coffee

Turkish Sand Coffee

Turkish coffee on hot sand is the local showstopper. Watch the copper pot nestle into the warm sand, try a mastic-flavored cup, and sip the traditional elderberry sherbet served alongside.

Fruit Wine

Şirince is famous for fruit wines—black mulberry, raspberry, blackberry, apple, quince. Tastings are encouraged (dangerously fun), and there are also local reds, whites, and rosés if you prefer classics.

Hanımağanın Mahzeni is a solid pick for fruity bottles.
