- Housed in a 1930s Bauhaus-style building on Rothschild Boulevard, this new boutique hotel in Tel Aviv has been renovated by architectural firm AN+ and features interior design by Studio Liaigre, as well as a garden by Piet Oudolf, the famous landscape architect behind New York ‘s High Line .
- The 11-suite, 5-star design hotel features a rooftop pool with unobstructed city views, two restaurants, and a carefully curated art collection showcasing renowned Israeli artists. R48’s interiors were designed by Studio Liaigre, who instilled timeless sophistication through bespoke furnishings and lighting to provide the feeling of being in a beautifully appointed private home. The majority of rooms are suites and include a living room, dining room and work area.
- Built during a prime time for Tel Aviv, the building which incorporates avant-garde international style with a Middle Eastern climate has been extended with a glass facade that floods the hotel with beautiful natural light. Within the common areas and rooms, 25 unique works of art adorn the hotel. Israeli art curators Art Source were commissioned to build a collection of contemporary local artists with a universal language, while remaining grounded in modern Israeli culture and identity.
